Capitol Land Trust and the Shelton Timberland Library invite families to the launch of a new StoryTrail featuring The Lorax by Dr. Seuss, installed along the scenic Johns Creek Trail at Bayshore Preserve in Shelton.

This bilingual English/Spanish trail weaves pages of The Lorax into a fun outdoor reading experience for ages 4+, though all are welcome.
🎨 At the kickoff event, enjoy a kids craft station and a tree-themed scavenger hunt near the kiosk.

Can’t make the kickoff? No worries — the StoryTrail will remain up through Labor Day.
